Hello all,

Forgive the long email but please read through all information about signing up for the upcoming Mock Meet (next Tuesday!) and logistics for all meets for the year.

Time Trial, Tuesday, May 31 from 5:00 to 7:30

• Next Tuesday we will host a Mock Meet to get the kids and volunteers prepared for the upcoming swim meet.
• Plan to arrive at the pool at 5:00. Swimmers will warm up while the parents have a quick meeting to discuss the meet process. Races will begin at 5:30.
• RSVP in Swimtopia the availability of each of your swimmers that WILL and WILL NOT be able to attend by Sunday, 05/19 at 1:00pm.
• Volunteer job sign ups will open today (Wednesday) at 7:30pm.
• Each family should sign up for at least 2 shifts of 2 different jobs for the mock meet. We would like to use this event as a opportunity.
• All kids 6 and under will be finished by event 37 at every meet and by 6:30 for the Mock Meet. Please plan your volunteer shifts around the little ones who may need to get home earlier.
• We will have light concessions available using cash or venmo during the Mock Meet of hotdogs, noodles, chips, and water.

• Swimmer availability is now open for all meets. Please RSVP in Swimtopia the availability of each of your swimmers that WILL and WILL NOT be able to attend. If the swimmer availability changes before the meet, please make the change in Swimtopia. This option will lock 2 days before the meet at 5:30pm. Any changes after that should be communicated by email or text to the reps.
• Volunteer sign ups for all jobs for ALL MEETS will open Wednesday, 05/22 at 5:30pm. Please have at least 1 adult from each family take at least 1 job shift for each meet that you will attend. Please consider doing more than 1 if possible for your family.
• All kids 6 and under will be finished by event 37 at every meet. Please plan your volunteer shifts around the little ones who may need to get home earlier.
• Job sign ups will close 2 days before the meet as well. If at least 1 adult from your family has not signed up by that time, we will reach out with a needed position. Please know that we may need to make adjustments on the day of the meet to ensure all jobs are covered.

•  https://nesbitlakeslightning.swimtopia.com/, click on Meets & Events, then SignUp Calendar.
• Go into the app, scroll down to "Upcoming", click on each event, then "meet signup" for swimmers, and "Job Signup" for volunteers (once open).
